We have provided two methods to login:

Method 1: SAPGUI

Step 1: edit your services file

  • Windows: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\services
  • Linux or Unix: /etc/services Add the following line:

sapmsA4H 3600/tcp

Step 2: Config your SAPGUI by choosing Group/Server Selection

  • Version 740 or up

Method 2: Login via WebGUI

We notice in certain scenarios users complain about the connections not working when they configure using message server. In this case you can try one of the following SAPGUI configurations without going through message server

If the login screen did not show up via SAPGUI, please make sure your firewall settings allow port 3299, 3600 outbound.

Note: if you're using SAPGUI 740, the patch level needs to be higher than Sep.2015, preferable 7400.2.7 (patch level 7).

For lower version of SAPGUI 740, the saprouter string has bug and will always be empty.
