For this project we'll install Fiori in the same server that runs S/4HANA 1610. Typically in a company there will be a standalone Fiori Frontend server for this purpose, similar to our previous project 'Clam'

Configuration for Fiori

Here we found the HTTP service was not activated by default, which will need to enable manually from the RZ10

Add the following external service: fiori and fioriadm

Do the same on Purchasing odata services, "ME", "PUR*", etc

Fiori URL:https://sharks4app.fandezhi.com:8001/fiori

Create a sample role copying from SAP standard role and assign to yourself

Then after login you'll see the following Fiori tiles

Troubleshooting

After activating selected gateway services, we found out that most of the fiori apps were not working. For example, when granting myself the purchase role, most of the tiles shows errors "Could not open app. Please try again'. In this case, we'll enable the browser trace

Then we activate all the ICF nodes

Now the tiles are working

Suite page builder main page will show all the available Fiori apps https://sharks4app.fandezhi.com:8001/fioriadm/main.html

Here you can search the available tiles that you want to use, by filtering 'PUR', 'FIN' etc

Also remember to activate the webgui IFC service. Now the webgui type also work!
