SAP IDM 8.0 step-by-step guide

### Portal Integration is an option. Basically it's just a Portal epa file that can be imported. So that administrator doesn't need to type URL:port/idm, instead the tab will show up in the portal navigation bar     

Now import the packages from the Core installation location ------------------    

Create the ABAP repository, in this case, since we've been using CUA in Solman, so we choose Solman as the connection target ------------------    ### Need to create a connector user IDM_COMM in CUA and assign the IDM communication role accordingly    ### Run the initial load now      

Display the ABAP users ------------------    

Note that the attributes of ABAP roles and profiles are different ------------------
