Design Studio was not launched within Query Browser in Fiori

When selecting an Analysis Query within Query Browser in Fiori, then click on "Open in Design Studio" (Fig.1), a blank page was launched (Fig. 2), not the expected Design Studio.

By checking ICF node, service sap/bw/mime is active. However, when test the service, it does not launch the service. See Figure 3. I guess it has to do with URL. Need help from basis experts.

Hey Bill,

This is a URL issue. When you test the ICF nodes, you can try to replace the s4app1.efglobe.com:8080 to webgui.efglobe.com:8888 or webgui.fandezhi.com:8888. These are the web dispatcher URLs that have been exposed to outside of firewall.

If there are any configurations within the Fiori interface, please make sure above URL in place.

This ends up with a trusted RFC configuration issue which has been resolved. Now the Design Studio shows up

Would you mind to try the link "Open in Design Studio" located at the Right bottom corner? You need to select a Query first, then click on the link. I just tried and still have a BLANK screen.

Figured out that the Fiori frontend tiles should be connecting to backend S4

Ends up with some BI related errors... "Resource not found for segment 'BiApplication'

Steven uncovered that Design Studio can be launch via ICF service /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell. See url in the following Figure. Unfortunately, the specified Analysis Query cannot be instantiated in the Design Studio. There are four error messages once the Design Studio was launched. Data displayed in the Design Studio, of course, is incorrect. Need to understand where and how to configure Fiori LaunchPad so that appropriate ICF service will support Design Studio to instantiate query.
