After we patched the S/4 1610 and Fiori components, the dashboards start showing HANA 2048 errors. We have checked and verified that the HANA DB memory was not full.

This is the guideline for installation and configuration of SAP IDM 8.0 with latest patch
First download the installation guide from SAP
Install Identity Management Core, which we'll use Oracle as backend database. Please note that currently SAP does not even have HANA as an option for IDM
Use SAPCAR to extract the latest patch, in this case ICCORExxx.SAR

First of all download and extract SUM to /usr/sap/<SID>
x SUM/sapcrypto/sapcrypto.lst
x SUM/sapcrypto/sapcrypto.mf
x SUM/sapcrypto/sapgenpse
SAPCAR: 16140 file(s) extracted
[root@sharkpo SUM]# cd SUM
[root@sharkpo SUM]# ls
abap jvm sapcrypto sdt STARTUP summanifest.mf
Then chown owner of the directory to be <SID>adm then login as root and register SUM to hostcontrol

First login to Netweaver Admin. In new version of NWA it only allows local administration

After the server hardware crashed and we had a chance to upgrade to VMWare ESXi 6.5. However after various steps to recover all the VMs, when we tried to start S4, it should license check error
We know that the license check actually depends on where the ASCS instance runs, however when we check the ASCS instance and it was not running at all!

Hana Multi-tenant connection on BI 4.2
The OLAP connection to HANA asks for an instance number and it then connects to the HANA server on port "3<instance_number>15".
But in multi-tenant scenarios the port number changes. It cannot connect to SAP HANA tenant or system DB. Below is the link for SAP on-line help about Port Assignment in Tenant Databases.

Hi, Gurus,
Trying to enable BRF+ in the Shark 1610 system, in order to test the new output functionality.
I have followed 2292571 - SAP S/4HANA output control - technical setup, and saw that in SICF, all relevant ICF services are activated.
However when I try T-Code BRF+ or test any of these services, I got 404 not found in browser.
Anyone know what is missing here? Thanks!

Recently I got a Lenovo T460s Ultrabook but with its standard configuration which only comes with 128GB SSD and 4GB(onboard) ram. During the Black Friday sale I had a chance to purchase a piece of 16GB DDR4 and 512GB Intel 600p M.2 SSD drive

We have provided two methods to login:
Method 1: SAPGUI
Step 1: edit your services file
Windows: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\services
Linux or Unix: /etc/services
Add the following line:

Since in S/4HANA 1610 a lot of things have been changed so that we would like to know if it's still applicable to connect the BW on HANA / BI contents to S4 1610

For this project we'll install Fiori in the same server that runs S/4HANA 1610. Typically in a company there will be a standalone Fiori Frontend server for this purpose, similar to our previous project 'Clam'
